I’ve decided to get back on the youtube bandwagon – honestly, I used to LOVE making videos because it was relaxing and fun and I am so grateful to have so much of my early twenties recorded because I was vlogging all the time.
Last year, I felt the same feelings that I do now and knew that I wanted to get back at it, but immediately started to feel pressure to create “the right” kind of videos instead of just the videos I like and would want to watch myself, so I got super overwhelmed and stopped altogether.
So now, instead of getting in my own head to much about this (let’s be honest, that’s not unusual in my world) I just decided to make what I want to make and have that be enough.
To get back into this craziness I’ve created a vlog from this past week. I talk about my current audiobook favorites, spend time with Jess, and just generally enjoy hanging out and chatting with you all.
I really hope you like it, but I’m not gonna freak out if you don’t. I’m sure, if nothing else, I’ll have an absolute blast looking back on Jess and my ridiculous antics a few years or even months from now, and for that I’m entirely grateful.
Here’s to keeping things low-pressure and having a good time doing it!
(Pro-tip: If nothing else, skip to the last 2 minutes of the video if you wanna see Miss Jess being a total and absolute scoundrel. I told her she was grounded for this.)
Watch it in the post below or on youtube here!
