Trying new things can be really really scary.
This past week I introduced my community to a new network platform and I’m not gonna lie, I was ridiculous nervous.
I knew I wanted to try it out, I knew it was the right thing for me, and I was pretty dang close to positive that it would be a great thing for everyone else, too, but that didn’t stop the nerves from coming.
I’m generally a nervous decision-maker anyway, truthfully, but this pandemic has made every decision feel 10x more important, for some reason.
If you’re feeling that way, too – like every decision is the most important decision ever, you are not alone! But I want to encourage you to take a breath, take a minute, and do a true assessment. Ask yourself if you’re not doing something because you actually think it’s the wrong call, or because you’re worried that someone else won’t like it.
The reality is, I LOVE the new space I’ve created for my community and I think it’s awesome! But I almost didn’t move forward with it because I was worried others wouldn’t feel the same.
But you know what?
I went for it and I tried it and not only am I happy with my decision, I’m actually EXCITED about it!
I went from nervous to excited by just taking one step forward.
Sometimes you just need to get over your nerves and take that one step and you’ll be much better off for it.
Make it happen, y’all!
